**Definitions**

A composite material where all carbon fibers are aligned in a single direction,
providing maximum strength along the fiber direction
'Ultimate Strength'
The maximum stress that a material can withstand before failure
'Yield Strength'
The stress at which a material begins to deform plastically (note: in composites,
this is often equal to ultimate strength due to brittle failure behavior)
